On June 12 Music NT proudly announced the launch of the inaugural NT Music Month, 16 August - 16 September 2009. It will take in 10 major NT music events including the Darwin, Alice Springs and Katherine Festivals, Home Brew Concert and Bush Bands Bash in Alice Springs, the Desert Harmony Festival in Tennant Creek, the NT Indigenous Music Awards with a special triple j unearthed showcase in Darwin, in August.
